This January, Ukiah hosted a team of talented actors from the Missoula Childrens theater for a week of theater learning and performance of 'Little Red Ridinghood". All our students in grades K-12 spent a full week auditioning, learning lines and songs, and increasing their acting and speaking skills.
With the guidance and energy of the MCT team, students and staff fully dive into celebrating the arts and putting on the best show for our parents and community. This year our students took the stage with confidence and enthusiasm and the result was amazing!
Accompanying our actors with piano music for the show was local parent and community member Robert Gasser. Mr. Gasser dedicated hours of his time learning and practicing the show music before theater week, sharing his time for rehearsals and practices, and the performance itself. His talents really bring the show to life and gives life to the performance - we are grateful and thankful for his time and support.
As the curtain has closed on the 2026 MCT Week, Ukiah School District wants to acknowledge and recognize the combined work of our staff, parents, and community helpers. Without this support we would not be able to bring this opportunity to our students. Thank you!
The MTC Week is supported and funded primarily through community supporters and alumni donors and has been identified as a top priority student activity.
